On December 28, 2022, Saylor reportedly said that the business is examining technologies and solutions that utilize the Lightning Network.
According to Cointelegraph, MicroStrategy’s executive chairman, Michael Saylor, has revealed his company’s ambitions to introduce software and solutions based on the Bitcoin Lightning Network in 2023.
On December 28, 2022, Saylor reportedly said that the business is reviewing technologies and solutions that utilize the Lightning Network. Both “help” for enterprise marketing and a cybersecurity solution for corporate websites are reportedly included in the offerings.
According to information provided by Cointelegraph, the Lightning Network is an off-chain transaction-permitting layer-2 payment mechanism built on the Bitcoin blockchain that boosts throughput and reduces transaction costs. Saylor emphasized that chief marketing managers may use Lightning Network to indemnify clients at the time of Twitter spaces.

Saylor also discussed his “Lightning wall” cybersecurity concept, which involves a Bitcoin-backed barrier to protect websites from cyberattacks by requiring users to make a Satoshi deposit. Saylor emphasized that in order to access private business websites and “ensure” their safety, users must first invest “100,000 Satoshi,” which would be returned after the visit.
The issue with credit cards is that it isn’t realistic to post $20 to 100 websites every day and then receive the $20 back in an instant. Said Saylor.
Saylor thinks non-custodial wallets have the ability to reach 100 million consumers, according to Cointelegraph, who also added that companies working on it want to create something by “next year.” Saylor responded against Eric Wall in October 2022 after Wall claimed that Saylor had never engaged in more than three lightning deals.
