Over the past few days, the “limited edition” NFT tickets that come with a group Zoom conversation with former US President Donald Trump have traded for less than $25.
Midway through December, Trump published his collection of NFTs. The “Trump Cards” collection includes a number of digital “cards” that show the former president in a number of well-known scenarios and positions. At the time, he said, “These limited edition cards showcase stunning ART of my Life & Career!”
The cost of the cards was $99. The Polygon layer-two scaling technology, which works in tandem with the Ethereum blockchain and enables quick transactions and cheap fees, was used to mint the whole 45,000 NFT supply.
Additionally, purchasers of the NFTs were required to enter a contest with a chance to win prizes like a gala dinner, a round of golf, or a group Zoom conversation with the previous president. Owners of NFTs began receiving these NFT access cards as airdrops starting last month.

As of this morning, some NFT perk passes were given to card buyers as part of the ongoing rollout, according to open blockchain data compiled by the OpenSea marketplace.
Users are most likely to switch NFTs that have access credentials to a group Zoom call with Trump. According to statistics from OpenSea, these NFTs do not, however, attract exorbitant pricing, with some being offered for less than $25 in ETH.
Each Zoom session with the former president will have up to 2,000 participants and continue for 20 minutes, per the OpenSea description. Prior to the call, participants would have the opportunity to submit questions, but there is no assurance they will get a response.
The inaugural run of Trump’s NFT collection was sold out in around 12 hours. The 45,000 NFTs sold for $99 apiece brought in $4.45 million. Following a dramatic increase in secondary market transactions, the collection had a trading volume of almost $3.5 million on December 17.
However, since then, both NFT pricing and secondary collections sales have declined significantly. According to data from CryptoSlam, the project sold a total of little over $21,000 on Sunday, a decrease of more than 99% from Saturday.
The former President announced his first entry into NFTs after teasing a “big announcement” on Truth Social. However, many people weren’t pleased when they learned that the major event was actually the debut of his NFT line.
