Ken DiCross, CEO of Wire Network, announced the release of MegaMask, a cryptocurrency wallet that seeks to reimagine the norm for cross-chain interoperability and asset transfers, during a speech at CoinAgenda. Users may store, view, and transfer non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrencies, and other digital assets from other blockchains in the wallet.

MegaMask, according to Wire Network, uses the new Universal Polymorphic Address Protocol (UPAP) from Wire. Network to facilitate cross-chain transactions without the need for a conventional bridge. With MegaMask, users will be able to take use of Web 3.0’s potential.

MegaMask is reportedly going to make it possible to see, transfer, or trade assets on any blockchain via a mobile app, a web app, or a browser plugin. Decentralized RPC through peer-to-peer self-validation, name service registration, and private chat between followers are further features that MegaMask will offer.

According to Kyle Dolan, CTO of Wire Network, “It was difficult, but I believe we were able to retain the security protocols required by Web3.0 users while giving a Web2.0 type onboarding experience for new customers.”
