For Indian consumers, Pepsi has announced the release of its first-ever non-fungible tokens (NFTs) collection. The NFT collection for Pepsi Black was developed by the PepsiCo India Design Team in collaboration with the illustrator Timea Balo and is based on the brand’s three pillars of innovation, self-expression, and evolution. Pepsi will produce a set of 20 Polygon blockchain-minted NFTs that are based on the company’s core values.
The NFT collection is said to be a tribute to the younger generation, which is said to be profoundly ingrained in technology and inspired by the brand concept of Pepsi Black. The NFT art collectibles are centered on changes made to the iconic Pepsi Black “Zero” graphic, which were motivated by the brand’s passion points to depict significant aspects.
The “Pepsi Black Zero Sugar” collection will be featured on Open Sea, the first and biggest web3 store for NFTs and crypto collectibles, with three versions of each theme and four variations inspired by music.

The victors of the #PepsiBlackeffect contest held on the social networking site Moj will get NFTs. To enter the campaign and be eligible to win Pepsi Black’s first NFTs, consumers must use Pepsi Black lenses and display their most outrageous SWAG identities.
Customers may enter the PepsiBlackEffect challenge using the short video platform Moj by selecting the “Pepsi Black Zero Sugar” lens in the app. The lens was developed to represent Pepsi Black’s maxim “Max flavor, low sugar.” By snapping four photographs in the lens with the beverage and the brand’s irreverent SWAG, customers may enter the world of Pepsi Black and display their SWAG.
These collages will be used to choose winners, who will then get unique NFTs from the “Pepsi Black Zero Sugar” line and be listed on the Open Sea. Customers won’t be able to receive NFTs unless they have a web3 wallet. The Polygon blockchain is used for both the issuance and transfer of NFT. Along with the NFTs, winners will also receive Pepsi memorabilia.
