A genuine NFT vending machine will be on display at the NFT.London conference, according to the UK-based non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace platform myNFT.

The first of its type in Europe, the vending machine makes it simpler for anybody to explore the world of NFTs without having any specialized understanding of blockchain or cryptocurrencies.

The machine, which is located beside the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, takes Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any contactless payment method before dispensing an envelope containing a special code for the selected NFT, which can be quickly redeemed on the myNFT platform.

Customers will be able to select from myNFT’s collection of donated NFTs for a fixed charge of only £10, without the need for cryptocurrencies, a crypto wallet, or any other specialist expertise. From November 2nd to November 4th, there will be hundreds of NFTs available for grabs, with some of the brands featured including Thunderbirds, Delft Blue Night Watch, and Dr. Who Worlds Apart. According to the business, some of the tokens bought might be worth up to £1,000.

The myNFT platform will provide users the option to purchase NFTs using fiat money through an onramp, ensuring that everyone may participate. Although these newly issued NFTs are intended to be collected, purchasers will be able to sign up for myNFT’s “bid-to-earn” GBM auction system, which will allow them to either win the item they are bidding for or get a reward for participating in the auction.

MyNFT emphasized the justification for accepting fiat and mobile payments while highlighting that one of its main objectives is to remove all obstacles to participation in the NFT industry. Its vending machine represents the platform’s simplicity and makes getting NFTs exciting and interesting.

Hugo McDonaugh, the co-founder of myNFT, said in a statement: “Great possibilities are being denied and squandered to newcomers because of things like gas costs, gatekeeping knowledge, needing to set up a difficult digital wallet, and more.

“We’re determined to break NFTs out of its present clique and make it an everyday pastime for everyone,” McDonough continued. The only one in all of Europe, our distinctive vending machine, is a fun and unusual method to illustrate that.

MyNFT thinks that the NFT sector’s present restrictions prevent the widespread use of the technology. Thus, the idea behind NFT vending machines fits in with its primary goals of reducing costs and supporting multichain payment methods, including fiat and a number of other features.
