The Fusion improvement in the 1inch Swap Engine is thought to enable DeFi investors to submit orders with a predetermined price and time range without having to pay network costs.
According to Cointelegraph, the 1inch Network, a decentralized finance (DeFi) aggregator, has announced a Fusion update centered on its 1inch Swap Engine.
The Fusion improvement, according to Cointelegraph, aims to give cryptocurrency investors affordable, lucrative swaps. The Fusion improvement in the 1inch Swap Engine is thought to enable DeFi investors to submit orders with a pre-set price and time frame without having to pay network costs. Additionally, the upgrade enabled network improvements including enhanced staking contracts and tokenomics.

Using expert market makers to offer liquidity, 1inch Swap Engine’s decentralized trading and matching system connects DeFi users and facilitates crypto deals, according to information from Cointelegraph. According to Sergej Kunz, co-founder of 1inch Network, “Fusion makes swaps on 1inch substantially more cost-efficient, since users won’t have to pay network costs, plus, an extra layer of protection is introduced, protecting consumers against sandwich attacks.”
Additionally, Cointelegraph pointed out that 1inch’s most recent upgrade now allows investors to do non-custodial swaps as opposed to the conventional centralized method. Insights from an announcement showed that 1inch uses a decentralized order-matching method based on a Dutch auction mechanism and offers liquidity. Along with the update, 1inch launched the 1inch Resolver Incentive Program, which will assist resolvers in receiving reimbursement for the gas used when submitting customer orders in Fusion mode through December 31, 2022.
