As part of an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Binance, a blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, Cristiano Ronaldo’s first non-fungible token (NFT) collection is anticipated to be made accessible starting on November 18, 2022. There are rumors that Ronaldo will be used in a global marketing effort to promote the launch and try to expose his fans to Web3.0 through the world of NFTs.
He Yi, co-founder, and chief marketing officer of Binance, stated, “We look forward to working with Ronaldo to help more people understand blockchain and illustrate how we are creating Web3.0 infrastructure for the sports and entertainment business.
The business states that there will be seven animated statues in the first Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection, each with a different rarity level: Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal (N). Ronaldo’s life will be depicted in every NFT monument, from his early bicycle kicks through his boyhood in Portugal. The 45 CR7 NFTs with the highest prices will be put up for auction on the Binance NFT marketplace (5 SSR and 40 SR). Following the auction’s conclusion, which is expected to take 24 hours, the NFTs will be given to the highest bidder.
SSR and SR have starting bid values of 10,000 and 1,700 Binance USD (BUSD), respectively. On the Binance launchpad, the remaining 6,600 NFTs (600 R and 6,000 N) will be sold, with prices beginning at 77 BUSD for the common rarity. Every degree of rarity will come with its own unique set of benefits, including a personalized greeting from Cristiano Ronaldo, autographed CR7 and Binance products, guaranteed access to all future CR7 NFT drops, free CR7 mystery boxes, and entrance into sweepstakes with signed goods and prizes.
In addition, new users of Binance.com will receive a Cristiano Ronaldo surprise package (and finish KYC). There may be limited-edition Ronaldo NFTs in these crates. There are CR7 mystery boxes available for the first 1.5 million new Binance users who sign up with referral ID RONALDO.
Users in the US will receive a free keepsake NFT from Binance.US, Binance.com’s US partner if they make deposits on the website during the promotion period. The whitelist will be available to users who purchase the souvenir NFT, allowing them to purchase CR7 NFTs in the future. New sets from the Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection will go on sale in the early months of 2023.
