Warning about $21,000 profit-taking from Bitcoin

Glassnode shows that Bitcoin may be moved fast and economically, as opposed to losing money.

According to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin, which has lain asleep for up to ten years, is reawakening this week as BTC price movement hits six-week highs.

Some of the oldest “dormant” Bitcoin is reentering circulation, according to data from the on-chain analytics business Glass node. Hodlers are changing their behavior as BTC/USD recovers in the second part of October after a year-long bad market.

According to Glassnode, the number of Bitcoins that were inactive and had been languishing in wallets for seven to ten years peaked on October 29. This is the most recent of a string of such highs; the prior one occurred on October 1.

On October 28, unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs) in profit reached a one-month high of more than 73%, trying to eclipse September levels, according to further data, Cointelegraph said.

Glassnode shows that Bitcoin may be moved fast and economically, as opposed to losing money. Several on-chain signals, according to Cointelegraph, suggest that the overall situation is more complex. This week, Binance, the exchange with the most traffic, had its largest-ever BTC balance decline as users withdrew more than 55,000 BTC in a single day.
