The DAO is anticipated to be in charge of awarding funds to independent developers that want to create goods and services for the Web 3.0 market and the ecosystem of Metamask. The project will run for the first 12 months while its feasibility and success are evaluated. Votes and ideas will be processed by the DAO openly using SnapShot on the Codefi Activate platform.

The DAO is made up of three parts, according to research from Cointelegraph. The first is the employee-based DAO, which consists of more than 900 full-time ConsenSys workers. These individuals will have the option to become members of the Grant DAO. A second element is a leadership group, or mini-DAO, made up of seven people, whose job it is to find initiatives with high potential.
