Today’s global crypto market valuation was $968 billion, down more than 1% from the previous day, and so stayed below the $1 trillion threshold.

Even though the biggest and most well-known cryptocurrency in the world was trading more than 2% lower at $19,042, the price of bitcoin today managed to stay over the $19,000 level. According to CoinGecko, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies fell below $1 trillion today after falling more than 1% over the previous day to $968 billion.

The Ethereum network-connected cryptocurrency Ether, the second-largest, fell more than 1% to $1,344. Mid-June saw a spike in the price of ether due to the excitement surrounding an upgrade of the Ethereum blockchain, but now that the upgrade is over, it is rapidly falling. Due to the Federal Reserve’s anticipated significant increase in interest rates this week to battle price pressure, investors are ready for volatility.

On Tuesday, Bitcoin fluctuated in price between its support level of $18,540 and its resistance level of $20,415. Bulls may regain market control by pushing to $20,000, which would likely start an upward trend. Ethereum, on the other hand, trades in a region close to that of Bitcoin. Due to the fact that sellers are more strong than buyers, it has not yet amassed enough strength to make a decisive move. The co-founder and CEO of Mudrex, Edul Patel, predicts that ETH will likely continue to trade sideways for a few more days.

Shiba Inu fell more than 2% to $0.000011 while Dogecoin’s price today was also trading roughly 2% higher at $0.05. Other cryptocurrency values performed differently today, with increases seen in Uniswap, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Binance USD, Polkadot, Litecoin, Apecoin, Cardano, Chainlink, Tron, and Tether prices during the last 24 hours, while losses were seen in XRP and Stellar.

Nasdaq Inc. is launching its first serious push into the cryptocurrency market as the second-largest stock exchange prepares to capitalize on big-money investors’ rising appetite for digital currencies. According to Bloomberg, a new organization devoted to digital assets would first provide institutional investors with custody services for Bitcoin and Ether.
