According to Cointelegraph, the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has purportedly given regulatory authority to the Blockchain wallet and trade site Blockchain.com.

Cointelegraph claims that, based on a recent Reuters article, VARA has inked a contract allowing Blockchain.com to create an office in Dubai. With offices in each region, the cryptocurrency company is now operational in Singapore, North America, Europe, and South America.

According to Cointelegraph, the VARA has given the go-ahead for organizations like Crypto.com, OKX, and FTX subsidiaries to provide cryptocurrency-related services in the nation since Dubai’s prime minister and ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced a regulator for cryptocurrencies and a law to go along with it in March. For the purpose of creating more than 40,000 virtual employment in Dubai by the year 2030, Al Maktoum introduced a metaverse approach in July.

Additionally, according to Cointelegraph, one of the first Bitcoin (BTC) infrastructure companies with its headquarters in London, Bitcoin.com, expects to receive regulatory permission in a number of nations, including Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority formally stated in August that Blockchain.com had been granted permission to run an exchange and offer custody services. The cryptocurrency company’s reported worth after a financing round in March was $14 billion.
