New Zealand Cricket and Dream Sports have agreed to a five-year partnership for NFTs, gaming, and merchandise

Dream Sports, the parent business of Dream11, and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have signed an exclusive deal to develop a full line of digital fan interaction products.

Dream Sports, the parent business of Dream11, and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have signed an exclusive deal to develop a full line of digital fan interaction products.

Through its portfolio firms, Rario and FanCode, Dream Sports will develop fan-focused pathways across non-fungible tokens (NFTs), gaming, and merchandise throughout the course of the five-year agreement.

As a result of the agreement, NZC will make its debut in cricket NFTs, which will be produced by Rario, the company that developed the first cricket NFT platform.

Rario is the newest addition to the Dream Sports portfolio after spearheading a $120 million Series A investment last month through its subsidiary Dream Capital. The bulk of the cricket NFT rights in the globe, according to Rario.

With FIAT-only items available in India, Rario will introduce NZC’s cricket NFT program, which will contain digital collectibles spanning player cards, video moments, and cricket artifacts.

A comprehensive sports apparel line will also be produced by Dream Sports’ game development division, Dream Game Studios, and housed on its sports content and commerce platform, FanCode, in India.

The official fantasy sports provider for NZC has been Dream Sports’ main brand Dream11.

One of NZC’s main objectives, according to him, is to increase the worldwide reach of our teams, foster deeper ties with other nations, and create fresh opportunities for fans to interact with and connect with the rich heritage of our sport.

The groundbreaking partnership will gradually open up more chances for sports fans to participate in the sport through innovative channels like NFTs, gaming, and merchandise.

Dream Sports, which was established in 2008 by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth, has collaborated with several organizations, teams, and athletes across a variety of sports over the years to close fan engagement gaps. The IPL, ICC, BCCI, Cricket Australia, The Hundred, La Liga Santander, and Pro Kabaddi League are a few of the current partners.
